Hyperhydrosis is a disorder of the sweat glands. It causes your body to sweat profusely and overheat during the summer months. Sweating is the way your body cools itself down to regulate body heat. If the body is unable to cool itself down, as a result the nervous system sends a message to the sweat glands to produce more sweat until the body eventually cools itself internally.
As a result, you may experience body odor from bacteria or fungus build up due dampness under your arms, private area, buttocks, palm of hands, face and bottom of feet. It’s very important to keep those areas dry as possible and cleanse with anti-bacterial soaps in addition to wearing white or light colored cotton under garments. A daily detox bath in lavender epsom salt, lavender oil, baking soda, tea tree oil and peroxide for about 20 minutes per day is very helpful in maintaining body odor control.
